  16. This disk is a double-sided disk. All
  17. of the programs that will run under
  18. ProDOS are on ProDOS formatted front
  19. side of the disk and all that will run
  20. under DOS 3.3 are on the back side of
  21. the disk. Some programs will run under
  22. both operating systems and are included
  23. on both sides of this disk.
  24. You're currently using the DOS 3.3 side
  25. of the disk.

  27. Before using the programs on this disk,
  28. you should make a work disk for each 
  29. program. This can be done by first 
  30. making a complete copy of the disk with
  31. one of the following programs:
  32.  
  33. * COPYA (DOS 3.3 System Master)
  34. * FILER (ProDOS Utilities Disk)
  35. * The Apple IIc or Apple IIGS
  36.   Utilities Disk
  37. * Any Disk Copy Program
  38.  
  39. Then boot the copied disk and delete 
  40. all of the files that are not related 
  41. to the program by using the DELETE 
  42. command. The System Utilities program
  43. also has an option to DELETE files.

  45. You will not be able to delete the 
  46. titles that we've placed in the 
  47. catalog to separate files. However, 
  48. these will not interfere with the 
  49. operation of the programs.

  51. The screen displays that follow show 
  52. the files needed to create working 
  53. copies of each program.

  55. To create a work disk for POSTER
  56. CREATOR, remove all but the following
  57. files from a copy of this disk:

  60. PC.SAMPLE.PIC

  62. Note: These programs are included on
  63. both the DOS 3.3 and ProDOS sides of
  64. this disk.

  68. a copy of this disk:

  114. DOS 3.3 and ProDOS sides of this disk.
  115. You must use these files along with
  116. Applewriter. These programs are not
  117. included as an option in the program
  118. menu because they require special
  119. instructions for use.

  122. CHECKIT program on this disk. CHECKIT
  123. is a utility published in every issue
  124. of Nibble that aids in typing in
  125. programs from the magazine. See the
  126. Typing Tips in the latest issue of
  127. Nibble for details on using CHECKIT.

  129. The source code files for the major
  130. assembly language programs have been
  131. included on the ProDOS side of the
  132. disk. These files are included
  133. expressly for experienced programmers.

  136. own the MERLIN assembler.
